PhD candidate working on optimization for last-mile delivery, transportation and supply chains.
Amirkabir University of Technology, Tehran · Institute for Transport and Logistics Management, WU Vienna
I am a PhD candidate at Amirkabir University of Technology (Tehran Polytechnic), affiliated with the Institute for Transport and Logistics Management at WU Vienna University of Economics and Business. I build optimization models for logistics: how to route vehicles, where to place facilities and how to recover schedules, so that goods arrive on time, at lower cost and with less environmental impact.
Much of my recent work is on healthcare logistics, such as medicine delivery and automated medicine lockers, and on fleets that have to cope with uncertainty, from electric motorcycles that swap batteries during emergency operations to container ships recovering from disruptions.
Crowdsourced delivery, location routing with soft time windows, and automated medicine lockers.
Emergency routing of electric fleets with battery swapping, and schedule recovery in maritime shipping.
Sustainable production and distribution planning, including aggregate production planning under uncertainty.
